This position provides service on all renewed and existing accounts to agency clients, supporting Account Managers and Customer Service Representatives.
Assist with enrollment processing, research eligibility and enrollment issues
Assist with claims; research and resolve claims issues
Submit requests for proposals to carriers
Respond to customer and internal inquiries and conduct research to resolve product and service issues
Prepare renewal binders for producer and clients
Input and update customer and policy information in agency management system
Process and handle incoming mail and faxes for assigned managers
Assist team with miscellaneous duties and projects
Keep team members fully informed of important activities on their accounts
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. Insurance industry background or knowledge of group insurance products preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Publisher). Good listening skills and attention to detail. Having a Life and Health license is a plus.
Frequently work at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.
Frequently sit for long periods of time.
This is a public contact position that requires appropriate business apparel.
